Effective June 17, 2026 · Last updated June 17, 2026
This policy explains what information SolitaireWoo ("we", "us") handles when you use the SolitaireWoo app, why, and the choices you have. The app requires no account and never asks for your name, email, or sign-in.
1. Summary
- We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone/camera data.
- Game progress and unlocks are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, synced privately through Apple iCloud — we cannot read it.
- Ads come from Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier (IDFA) and ad-interaction data. Personalized ads are used only with your consent; otherwise ads are non-personalized.
- Purchases (coins, Remove Ads) are processed by Apple. We never see your card or payment details.
- You can remove ads entirely with the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase, and limit ad tracking anytime in iOS Settings.
2. Information handled by the app
a) Stored on your device / your private iCloud
Gameplay state, statistics, settings, coin balance, and unlocked cosmetics are saved locally and, when iCloud is enabled, mirrored to your own private iCloud database. This lives in your Apple account; SolitaireWoo has no access and never receives a copy.
b) Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded (opt-in) ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process a device advertising identifier (IDFA), ad-interaction data, and coarse signals such as device type, OS version, and general region from IP address.
When you have not granted App Tracking Transparency permission, the app requests
non-personalized ads (Google's npa=1 flag) — chosen from general context, not a profile
of your cross-app activity. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app
presents a Google consent form on first launch and serves ads only according to your choices there;
you can revisit it anytime via Settings → Legal → Privacy Options in the app. Google's handling is
governed by the Google Privacy Policy
and AdMob policies.
c) App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On first launch the app may present Apple's tracking-permission prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the app won't use the IDFA for cross-app tracking and requests non-personalized ads only. Change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
d) Purchases (Apple StoreKit)
Coin packs and the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade are sold through Apple. Apple processes the transaction and gives the app a receipt so it can deliver what you bought. We do not receive or store your payment card number, billing address, or Apple ID password.
e) Game Center (Apple GameKit)
If signed in to Game Center, the app can report achievements (and where applicable scores) to Apple's Game Center, governed by Apple's privacy policy. This is optional and controlled by your device's Game Center settings.
f) Local settings (UserDefaults)
Preferences, coin balance, and ad-frequency bookkeeping are stored in standard on-device storage accessible only to the app itself.
3. How the information is used
- To run the game, save your progress, and sync it across your own devices via iCloud.
- To display ads and process the optional purchases that fund the app.
- To measure ad performance and install attribution using Apple's SKAdNetwork and Google's aggregated reporting.
- To record Game Center achievements when you are signed in.
We do not sell your personal information and do not build advertising profiles ourselves; any ad personalization is performed by Google and only with your consent.
4. Third-party services
| Provider | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (iCloud, StoreKit, Game Center, SKAdNetwork) | Sync, purchases, achievements, attribution | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Google AdMob | Advertising & measurement | policies.google.com/privacy |
5. Children's privacy
SolitaireWoo is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children and the app is not enrolled in Apple's "Made for Kids" program.
6. Your choices and rights
- Turn off ad personalization / tracking: decline the ATT prompt, or iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Reset your advertising identifier: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security / Apple Advertising.
- Remove ads entirely: the one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade in the in-app Store.
- Delete your data: delete the app (removes local data); to remove the iCloud copy, also delete the app's data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- EU/UK (GDPR) & California (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to access, correct, delete, and restrict processing, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing". As the app holds no identifying account, most rights are exercised via the device controls above and Google's ad settings. For anything else, contact us.
7. Data retention & security
On-device and iCloud data persist until you delete the app and clear its iCloud data; we keep no separate server-side copy of your personal data. All network traffic uses standard encrypted HTTPS/TLS.
8. International data transfers
Apple and Google may process data on servers outside your country, under their own safeguards and legal transfer mechanisms described in their policies above.
9. Contact
Questions or requests: dumitru.rogojinaru@icloud.com (SolitaireWoo).
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves or laws change; material changes update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, are noted in the app.
